Established in 2019, By Blu is the creative home of Patti Blucher—a self-taught, intuitive artist based on the ruggedly beautiful Kangaroo Island. What began as a lifelong passion for making has grown into a multidisciplinary studio that captures the island's textures and tones.

While Patti is widely known for her organic sterling silver jewellery and her raw, salvaged metal range, her creative vision now extends to the canvas and beyond. As a painter, she translates the KI landscape into vibrant works of art, which are now featured on a curated collection of art-printed tops, jumpers, tea towels, and stationery. Every piece carries the intentional marks of its maker—unique, colourful, and deeply connected to the natural world.
